LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE - Jan 26th/Mar 1st 2008 (9.00am - 6.00pm)

LEVEL 2 COACHING COURSE - Mar 15/16th & May 17/18th 2008 (9.00am -  6.00pm)

Cost: FREE

Wirral Squash Development Association has been successful in receiving a grant to facilitate 16 Players to attend England Squash Coaching Courses.  There are 8 places available on each Coaching Course which will be held on the Wirral in the New Year.  Venues to be confirmed in January 2008. 

Places will be allocated for applicants according to the following criteria; -

•      Applicants must have been assisting in their Club/Leisure Centre during 2006 - 2007

•      Applicants should have been assisting on a weekly basis from Sept. 2007

•      Applicants for the L1 Course have a ‘Leaders Award’ qualification in Squash

•      Applicants for the L2 Course are suitably qualified & active in Squash Coaching

•      Applicants are prepared to show commitment to Squash on the Wirral or locally

•      Other applications will be considered

All course fees, some travel expenses, and Coaching costs will be covered by the funding.  We are keen to encourage Juniors and those Coaches who wish to set up and Coach in Clubs & Leisure Centres locally.

Successful applicants will be expected to sign a service level agreement to commit to 6hrs of Coaching following their course.
