Next year England Squash are hosting a National Charity Squash Week in the lead up to the World Championships which are being held at the National Squash Centre in
As a launch pad to next year’s Charity Week, England Squash will be holding a number of events, not only to promote our nominated charity Whizz-Kidz, but also to profile our fantastic sport to the general public, especially at club level.
Whizz-Kidz is a registered charity, which provides customised wheelchairs, tricycles and other specialised mobility equipment, as well as information and advice, to change the lives of disabled children across the
Ultimately, independent mobility enables disabled children to experience the everyday things that many able-bodied children take for granted -independence and freedom changes a child’s life, literally overnight.
Our aim between now and the final day of the Charity Week in October 2008 is to raise enough money to provide 6 children with motorised wheelchairs! With each wheelchair costing £7500, this is quite a task, but we are sure with YOUR support, we can achieve our target, and as a result, will have such a positive effect on 6 young people’s lives.

It will give the general public the chance to see and recognise Squash as a World Class Sport, whilst also bringing national recognition to the hard work that Whizz-Kidz carry out daily.
