National BadmintonInter-School competition

The new national badminton inter-school competition is now underway  for this seasons competition, the first rounds  played within each school sports partnership, then county rounds before regional and national finals.

The schools reaching the county rounds included  Rudheath High School, Eaton Bank HS, CongletonHigh School, Lymm HS, AltrinchamGirlsGrammar School, AlsagerSchool, Wilmslow HS Sports College & Birchwood HS, Warrington.

 

Winners progressing to the North West Regional finals were Lymm HS (Years 7,8 & 9 Girls), Altrincham Girls Grammar (Years 7,8 & 9 Girls); Middlewich HS (Years 7,8 & 9 Boys) and Wilmslow HS Sports College (Years 10, 11 Boys & Girls).

 

The North West Regional final was held at Hyndburn Sports Centre, Accrington where Wilmslow HS Sports College won the Year 10 & 11 Boys event and AltrinchamGirlsGrammar School winning the Years 7,8 & 9 Girls event. Both teams now progress ro the National Finals to be held in April at Derby.

 

The closing date for entrants is 20^th July 2008
