Sport Unlimited
Throughout Cheshire & Warrington there are a variety of activites aimed at 'semi sporty' children and young people and .
Over 100 activites have already formed part of the Cheshrie & Warrington Sports Partnership Sport Unlimited programme.
The aim of the Partnership is to engage over 21,000 children and young people across Cheshire & Warrington. We intend to do this by encouraging more partners to become involved in Sport Unlimited.
Some of the successful activities that have or are currently being run include:-
Handball in Warrington
Introduction to Boxing is currently being run in Partnership with Cheshire East Council and is being supported by Courtney Fry - Commonwealth Gold Medalist he is supporting those involved in the programme by mentoring them and encouraging them to participate in boxing in the long term. This was the name for the first ever Cheshire & Warrington Sport Unlimited conference which was held on 16th July 2009 at MMU - Cheshire (Alsager Campus).
