  • Greater Manchester Disability Games hosted by Wigan Sport Development team is due to take place on Friday 29th June at Leigh Sports Village 10am -2pm. The event programme includes Table Tennis, Tag Rugby, Football, Boccia, Athletics and Sitting Volleyball. Please click here for further details.   • The annual Disabaility Awareness Day (DAD) is taking place at Walton Hall Gardens, Warrington on 15th July 2012. Disability Awareness Day 2012 aims to promote all aspects of independant living including support groups and services, transport, employement, education, health, social services, equipment, mobility products, utilities, communication, leisure activities and much more. This years DAD week will start with a launch event on Saturday 7th July, followed by a week long calendar of evtns leading upto the big day on the 15th July 2012.   • British Swimming is hosting a National Talent Identification Weekend as part of the Paralympic Legacy. This weekend will be held on 3 rd and 4 th November, and will consist of series of Talent Identification Assessment Events, held at different locations across the UK.   • Cerebral Palsy Sport is holding a multi sports day at Bebbington High School, Wirral. The day includes Athletics, Boccia, Kurling and Table Cricket. The day is aimed at children with celebral palsy or a physical disability between the ages 8-19. Please click here for further information  
  • Boccia England is hosting regional Boccia Tournaments.
