DfE Funding
DfE disability is an initiative that aims to build on the delivery of the Playground to Podium (P2P) event and provide expert disability sport opportunities for young people within Cheshire and Warrington. DfE is an extension of the annual P2P event and will provide young people with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in sport specific talent camps delivered at selected clubs and centre of excellence facilities. Participants will be invited to attend these talent camps that are due to take place after the P2P event on the 25 th May. The sports that we will be working with include Football, Swimming, Wheel chair Basketball, Cricket and Table Tennis. Clubs identified by their relevant NGB to be involved in DfE will also have access to club development funding to support their delivery in disability sport opportunities which will provide appropriate pathways for sustained participation.
