Overview of Grant Funding for Cheshire

Seminar: "AN OVERVIEW OF GRANT FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHESHIRE" - 4 dates available in April and May

Cheshire County Council is organising a seminar outlining the many grant funding sources available to Cheshire organisations, including the National Lottery, Landfill Communities Fund, Charitable Trusts, European Funding and Cheshire-based sources. The session, to be run seven times, will also give an insight as to which funds are generally oversubscribed or undersubscribed, and hints and tips before you apply. The same session will be run on seven dates in March at venues across the county, with options for evening or daytime attendance. The dates, venues and times are as follows:

  • Tuesday 10 March: Alvaston Hall Hotel, Nantwich, 19.15 - 21.15hrs
  • Thursday 12 March: Bickerton Village Hall, near Malpas, 19.15 - 21.15hrs
  • Tuesday 17 March: Winsford Civic Hall, Winsford, 09.30 - 11.30hrs
  • Wednesday 18 March: Marthall Village Hall, near Macclesfield, 19.15 - 21.15hrs
  • Tuesday 24 March: New LifeChurch, Congleton, 19.15 - 21.15hrs
  • Wednesday 25 March: CountyOfficers Sports Club, Upton, Chester, 19.15 - 21.15hrs
  • Friday 27 March: 'The Venue' (formerly called Rudheath Youth Centre), Northwich, 09.30 - 11.30hrs

       
All venues will be open half an hour before the scheduled start time when tea/coffee will be available upon arrival.

The seminars are free and there is ample free parking at each venue. Whilst it is impossible to cover absolutely every funding source, this session will hopefully give encouragement that there is funding out there for your organisation to access, whether it be for a few hundred pounds or thousands.

The seminar will be delivered by Stephen Wright, External Funding Adviser, Cheshire County Council.
