Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership is 9th in the country

Sport England has just released year two figures for Sport Unlimited. These show that Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership is ninth out of 49 County Sports Partnership's in terms of achieving its targeted number of participants.

In year two the Cheshire & Warrington Partnership achieved 120% of its target which equates to 7135 young people. The average over all 49 County Sport Partnerships was 96% with the percentage of target ranging from 37% to 155%.

The cumulative achievement of the Partnership for years one and two is 94% of target which equates to 8786 young people.

This is a great achievement for Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership and its many partners including NGB's, School's, Local Authorities and Clubs especially considering that we achieved 48 % in year one of the scheme.
We are now in year 3 the last year of the current scheme and are hoping to achieve even better by smashing the 3 year target.
