Cheshire & Warrington Coaching Development Manager

 

Salary         Up to £26,000 per Annum

 

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen in the core team of Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership. The aim of the partnership is to make sport and physical activity an integral part of the lives of the people of Cheshire & Warrington.

 

Funded by Sport England and supported by sportscoach UK, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated officer to reflect the importance being placed upon coaching by government and the major funding partners.

 

You will have responsibility for managing the development of a local Coaching System Support Network (CSSN) to support coaches at community level in response to identified need.  Working closely with the Governing Bodies of Sport and key regional and local partners you will support the development of an effective and sustainable coaching system at a local level that will be seen as world leading. You will be a dynamic individual and an expert in networking with a flair for developing mutually beneficial partnerships with a range of agencies and organisations.

 

You will be based at the Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership in Northwich but, as you will work across the Partnership, you will need your own transport.  This is a fulltime position (2 years, subject to funding), with an immediate start. The post is subject to an enhanced CRB check
