What is Sportivate?
Nationally
Sportivate is a nationwide campaign that aims to capture the excitement of sport by providing opportunities for teenagers and young people to participate in high quality weekly coached sports programmes.
Sportivate is part of Places People Play Sport England's London 2012 mass participation legacy programme. The overall aim is for 300,000 participants aged 14-25 years to complete weekly coaching sessions over four years with 120,000 carrying on playing sport regularly.
Sportivate will commence delivery in July 2011 and run for four years until March 2015.
Locally
Sport Cheshire has £350,000 of funding available over the next four years for partners to deliver a series of weekly coaching sessions to over 4,500 children & young people aged 14 - 25.

The Sportivate programme has access to the Sporting Champions initiative which enables young people and young adults to come face to face with world class athletes who's aim is to inspire and motivate.
If you would are interested in a Sporting Champion attending you project please select yes on the application form under Sporting Champion request.

Future Deadlines:
Deadline for delivery April 2013 - Sept 2013 is 3rd December 2012
Deadline for delivery Oct 2013 - March 2014 will be in 1st July 2013
