Policy  update, bringing you up to speed with the latest legislative developments affecting sport and recreation:

CCPR is pleased to report that its campaign to ensure that new migration legislation does not adversely impact sport has been successful, and would like to thank all those who have supported us in this.

The Government has also announced the commencement date of the new Independent Safeguarding Authority and the cost of registering. Many details of this legislation are still to be finalised however and CCPR will continue liaising with relevant partners with regard to this.

Finally the Government has launched its Draft Legislative Programme for the next Parliamentary session, confirming its plans to create an access corridor around England’s coastline via a Marine and Coastal Access Bill.
