Coach Education

Coaches need to keep up to date with the way they coach. The Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership offers all coaches the opportunity to access a whole range of training courses and workshops. These include Governing Body Awards and general coaching workshops such as those run by sports coach UK and runningsports.

These are run by sports national governing bodies (NGB's) and range from Level 1 to Level 5. There are a number of courses (mainly Level 1 and 2) offered in or close to Cheshire & Warrington, click here...

  Coach & Club Education workshops

All of our workshops are organised through Sport Cheshire and Local Authorities in partnership with sports coach UK, runningsports and a number of First Aid organisers. We aim to offer a wide variety of workshops to help clubs, coaches and volunteers develop and keep up to date with topics such as child protection, disability, equity, mentoring, communication, funding and fitness. All workshops are tutored by accredited tutors. All attendees will receive up to date knowledge surrounding the topic area, as well as receiving resources (where applicable) and the chance to express any concerns/issues they may have.
