Rob Burchell is the Coach Development Manager for Cheshire and Warrington Sports Partnership and his remit is to develop systems to support coaches and organisations supporting coaches. Coach Education Courses / New Coach Management System
The Cheshire and Warrington Sports partnership has implemented a change with regards to Coach Education and the way that you book onto the courses. We now have a new coach Management system in place www.coachingcw.org that is used for coaches to access the following:
• Allows coaches to book on to courses or express interested in certain courses
• Access coaching / training opportunities
• Find out about what is going on / new in coaching
• Use as a profile for themselves
• To be able to log coaching hours and information to keep an up to date CV
To register on the system you need to:
• Go to www.coachingcw.org
• Click on "register here" and complete the basic registration form
• You will then go to the Coach's home page, click on start my application and tell us about you and how we can help
The only courses that Cheshire & Warrington run as a set programme are:
Safeguarding & Protecting Children
Safeguarding & Protecting Children 2: Review and Reflect

All other courses will be set up on a demand basis and managed using our new coach Management system (www.coachingcw.org) for a full list of what courses the partnership can offer through Sports Coach UK please click here.
If you are interested in any of the courses please register and click on to the course availability tab within your profile, here you will be able to select which courses you are interested in and when and where is most convenient for you, once we have evidence of enough demand we will arrange a course and contact you with the details.
Additional Courses
Any additional courses that are set up through the NGB's are advertised via our Google calendar.
Support for Coaches
Each of our unitary authorities has invested in Club and Coach Development officer. These new roles are part of Sport England's Community Investment Fund programme aimed at developing the club, coach and volunteer workforce. Their Contact details are as follows:
