BBC Sports Awards CHESHIRE CLUB WINS TITLE
Congratulations
Following Chester Sports Development nomination of West Cheshire Athletics Club who won the Chester Club of the year, we then nominated them to the County Awards where they won the Cheshire Community Club of the year in October. They have now gone on to win the BBC Northwest Community Club of the year.
The presentation was last night (26th November 2007) and will been shown on BBC North West on Wednesday 28th November at 7.30pm.
Congratulations to all the club members both senior who run the Chester 1/2 Marathon and the junior section who deliver our Youth Games Team, International Games Team and all the school sports hall athletics competitions with primary schools which are in full flow this month.
