DIRECTOR OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

 

 

 

Warrington Wolves RLFC is a leading club in Super League with a tradition of 103 years of top flight Rugby League and service to the Warrington Community.

 

The Club are seeking to recruit a full time Director of Youth Development who will be required to lead and manage the clubs’ ‘young players’ pathway systems and environments from 12-21 years old to produce the highest quality home grown players for the 1^st Team.

 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer/Board of Directors, you will have direct responsibility for:

 

·         Recruiting, developing and nurturing the very best of young UK talent.

 

·         Management of the Club’s Youth Development staff i.e. Coaches and Scouts and for the ongoing development of coaching staff.

 

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate academic, professional qualifications, effective management and leadership skills appropriate to the Sport environment.  

 

Well established networks and contacts within business/professional bodies in the sports sector would be a major advantage in adding value to the Club’s operations.

 

A full and valid driving licence is essential
