Active8 Leisure Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious person to fill the above post. The post will form part of a new and exciting opportunity to take sport, fitness, health and well being out into the community of Ellesmere Port and Neston.
The post forms part of a successful funding bid to Sport England through the Community Sports Network and will be jointly funded by Active8 Leisure and Age Concern working in partnership with other local agencies.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver a high quality service to citizens of the Borough, which will include after school clubs, family activities, organised sports and games in local parks and community settings.
The role also requires you to design and deliver a wide variety of innovative sports, fitness and health related activities, which are aimed to increase the physical activity levels to the citizens within the Borough. The applicant should have experience in the delivery of sports/leisure and physical activity programmes to a diverse target market, you need to be self-driven and creative. The role requires the individual to have good communication skills, be confident in report writing, and have experience of monitoring and evaluation methods and process experience in keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
The post is funded until May 2010, contract working 19 hours per week, which will include evening and weekend working. The post is fully inclusive and will not attract any plusages.
