Inspired by London 2012? Get your organisation officially recognised now!
An Olympic and Paralympic first, the London 2012 Inspire programme officially recognises outstanding non-commercial projects and events inspired by the Games. Sport, culture, education, sustainability and volunteering all feature.
By Games time, it is projected that just under 160,000 people will have participated in Inspire Projects across Cheshire and over half a million pounds of funding will have been invested.
Across Cheshire and Warrington we have a total of 20 projects of which 7 are in Cheshire East, 9 in Cheshire West & Chester, 2 in Warrington and 2 County wide. Projects range from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Services Firefit project (click here) to the amazing Handball programme in Warrington (click here).
The benefits of the programme are vast including once in a lifetime opportunities such as visits to the Olympic park or Olympian's visiting your project. If you think you have a project that would like to become an official partner to the Games then contact our Regional Inspire Programmer Sarah Case-Upton and lets put Cheshire on the map!
