Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership has been identified as the ‘Champion’ for one of the 4 themes within the ‘Embrace the Games’ document – the Cheshire & Warrington Legacy Framework for the London 2012 Games.
The document was launched at an event at MMU Cheshire, which was attended by Lord Coe. This document is considered key by the Cheshire & Warrington 2012 Steering Group as a means to enthuse the public, private and voluntary sectors with regard to the potential the 2012 Games bring. Consequently the framework clearly highlights the benefits available across the four themes, whilst setting out some challenging ambitions and proposed actions.
